Actor, writer, and director David Dean Bottrell will appear on TV's Ugly Betty tonight. As an actor, Bottrell appeared several times last season on Boston Legal as the wacky and hilarious Lincoln Meyer. Bottrell is also the writer and director responsible for the short film, Available Men, in which a Hollywood agent (dispatched to sign a "hot" new writer) and a sensitive gay man (waiting for a blind date), mistake each other for the person they were expecting to meet. The film ran in over 100 festivals and won 15 "Best Short Film" awards including the 2006 OutFest award for Best Short. (The Advocate)
