Since skyrocketing to fame in Twilight, Cam Gigandet has been
branded a bona fide hunk by blogs and Hollywood casting agents alike.
And if he plays his cards right, his new movie seems poised to make
him a favorite in gay circles.
The 27-year-old actor has signed on to star opposite Christina Aguilera and Cher in Burlesque.
Aguilera stars in the film as a girl from the Midwest who moves to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a singer. On her path to stardom, she gets a gig at a burlesque club run by Cher's character.
Gigandet will play Aguilera's love interest, a struggling piano player who tends bar at the club.
Aguilera will be making her acting debut in the film, though she did impress fans of Saturday Night Live with a dead-on impersonation of Sex & the City's Samantha Jones a few years back.
