X-Men: Days of Future Past actors James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender appeared Friday on The Graham Norton Show, where the host showed the two performers art and fiction pieces their fans on the Internet had created about them.
First Norton displayed a series of fan-created portraits ranging from simple head shots of McAvoy and Fassbender to ones imagining the pair as a couple baking cookies with McAvoy bent over a table and Fassbender grabbing him from behind. McAvoy commented that he and his costar "looked like a couple that had been together for 25 years and they're like ... we haven't had sex in a long time. Come on, let's try!"
Norton also scoured Internet forums for fan fiction stories. The host was amazed to discover that some scenarios were actually hundreds of thousands of words long, or the equivalent of multiple books. He and Jackman shared in reading the summaries aloud, one of which focused on James McAvoy becoming pregnant with twins, and another that saw the pair knitting scarves.
McAvoy, Fassbender, and Jackman star as mutants Professor X, Magneto, and Wolverine in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. The film is scheduled for release in the United States May 23.
