The Democratic rising star sat down with The Advocate for an interview about the Epstein files, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and co-parenting his cat after his divorce.
“I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be the first to know I will not be seeking reelection to Congress with a grateful heart,” the former House speaker said.
The bill also seeks to look at inequities based on race, income, and geography, but Republicans say the goal is to rig research for transgender athletes.
“If we want to keep our rights, and I want to keep my right to marry who I want to marry and have the rights of equality under the law, I have to step up and fight,” Marni von Wilpert told The Advocate.
“If it’s a day ending in y, President Trump is attacking kids’ safety, health, and access to education as part of his culture war,” a spokesperson for Gov. Gavin Newsom told The Advocate.
The university has refused to bow to the President’s sweeping list of anti-transgender demands — bucking a growing trend of large universities that have caved to similar pressure.
Local advocates had urged city officials to oust the private prison operator and reconsider the zoning on the site, which had been used for transitional housing for 30 years.
