TBT: Mid-Century Dreamboats

I grew up looking at mom's Ladies' Home Journal, McCall's, and Redbook. I learned every romantic illusion from the illustrations and fiction. Exquisitely handsome men, often distracted or overly animated, with women looking at the men as if they were gods or silly boys.
