Saturday Night Live and Kate McKinnon imagined if Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has a second chance on that disastrous 60 Minutes interview.

"I don't like to think of things in terms of school," deadpans DeVos, with SNL repeatedly getting the portrayal too right.

DeVos suggests some innovations, such as a school for bears, and that "in North Carolina, stop being trans, and that's what's best for them."

The crowd reacted to that last joke in the context of all that DeVos has done to harm transgender students, rolling back guidance to educators that trans students ought to be recognized by their gender identity, for example.

McKinnon's DeVos has a theory on why the 60 Minutes interview went so badly. "I think it's because I do not do a good job, and I can't, because I don't know how."
