A gay 40-year-old who created an online radio station devoted to Donald Trump will not be serving in North Carolina's legislature after he was trounced by a Democratic pastor.

Peter Boykin -- creator of MagaOneRadio.net, organizer of National March4Trump rallies on the National Mall, founder of the so-called MAGA Network, and active member of the local Republican party -- was defeated by incumbent Amos Quick in the state's 58th legislative district, which includes the Greensboro area. Quick captured 21,233 votes to Boykin's 6,425 votes, or approximately 77 percent to 23 percent.

Boykin struck a positive tone in announcing his defeat, wishing his opponent luck and expressing hope in the GOP.
