Holistic wellness expert Nikki Caster teamed up with filmmaker Marina Rice Bader to launch a new webseries geared towards an LGBTQ audience and focused on tackling isolation, fear, and anxiety during the time of COVID-19.

Soul Sessions with Nikki Caster premiered on Wednesday, with Caster leading viewers through 17 minutes of breathing, moving, stretching, meditating, chanting, and self-massage. The daily series -- produced by Rice Bader (who executive produced the film Elena Undone) -- lives on the OML YouTube channel, a hub for lesbian and queer content.

"We're experiencing something completely unprecedented and everyone is confused and anxious" OML founder Shirin Etessam says in a statement. "It is our collective responsibility to rise up and support each other during these very challenging times. Soul Sessions is our way of doing so."

Caster says in the first episode that her goal is to help LGBTQ viewers become more present and peaceful during a very stressful time. Caster utilizes her background in pilates, yoga, Qi Gong, meditation and personal training to offer methods for healing and personal transormation.

New episodes, all about 15 minutes long, will be released for the next few weeks, with a goal for a new video a day. Caster and Bader encourage viewers to share their experiences and connect in the comment section. Check out OML's YouTube page here.
