Project Inform names interim executive director

San Francisco-based Project Inform this week named organizational development consultant Gail Kaplan as interim executive director of the nonprofit AIDS advocacy organization, according to a Project Inform press release. Kaplan replaces former Project Inform executive director Ellen LaPointe, who stepped down on April 1. The search for a permanent replacement for LaPointe is expected to take up to six months. Kaplan previously served as interim executive director at San Francisco's Stop AIDS Project in 2003.
