ABC gives It's All Relative a full-season pickup
ABC announced that it has "picked up the back nine"--that is, given a nine-episode order to complete the full season--to the gay-themed sitcom It's All Relative. Also given full-season orders by the network were Hope & Faith, I'm With Her, and Married to the Kellys, along with drama series 10-8: Officers on Duty and Threat Matrix. "We're immensely proud to have successfully launched 10 new comedies in just two and a half seasons, said Susan Lyne, president of ABC Entertainment, in a statement. "ABC's record in the comedy arena remains unparalleled." Produced by out film and TV moguls Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago and Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows), Relative tells the story of the clash that occurs when a female Harvard undergrad with two dads falls in love with a blue-collar Bostonian whose parents run a bar.
