Richard Chamberlain to tour in Scrooge
Out actor Richard Chamberlain will tour the country in a stage musical based on the 1970 film Scrooge, featuring songs by Leslie Bricusse, reports Variety. The stage musical, which has already run in the United Kingdom, will kick off its tour October 26 in Chicago before moving onto Minneapolis; Appleton, Wis.; Louisville; Wallingford, Conn.; Detroit; Baltimore; and Philadelphia. Producer Ben Kenwright says he hopes to make Scrooge an annual holiday event.
