A month-long event held throughout San Francisco, the annual National Arts Queer Arts Festival features live music, dance, visual art, spoken word, theater, and film. Highlights this year include performances by Oratrix, the Transformers, Sini Anderson, LAVA, and Bitch, a reading by graphic-novelist Alison Bechdel, and Fresh Meat, a cabaret of trans-glam rock, gospel, hip hop, and aerial dance.
