The Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, D.C., performed the national anthem before Tuesday night's Washington Nationals baseball game at RFK stadium. According to chorus members, their performance received a standing ovation--although the crowd in the stadium was probably already on its feet, as is customary when "The Star-Spangled Banner" is performed. Still, one member described his group's historic gig as "wildly successful." (The Advocate)
