Rock Out, the first-ever showcase for LGBT talent to take place during Austin's celebrated South by Southwest Music Festival, happens Thursday, March 13, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. With two independently produced shows, Rock Out will feature eight of the most talented, emerging gay indie musicians in the country. The two shows will take place simultaneously at Austin's two most high-profile gay venues, Rain (217 West 4th Street) and Oilcan Harry's (211 W. 4th Street).

The artists include Tom Goss (Washington, D.C.), Alyx Price (College Station, Texas), Coyote Grace (Seattle), Andy Moore (Richmond, Va.), Namoli Brennet (Tucson), Adrianne (Atlanta), Eric Himan (Tulsa, Okla.), and the Guise (Austin).
