Three groups are coming together to raise awareness of HIV and AIDS among gay and bisexual men from Central America. The event will explore trends and programmatic efforts in Central America and Los Angeles as well as the impact of migration on HIV risk domestically and internationally.

The summit will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 1 at Los Angeles City Hall, Tom Bradley Tower, 200 N. Spring St., and will also feature a presentation of "No Mas en el Tintero," a new document produced by AIDS Project Los Angeles. APLA, the City of Los Angeles AIDS Coordinator's Office, and la Coalicion de Organizaciones Gay de America Central worked together to coordinate the event. For more information call Moises Cascante at (213) 201-1567 or e-mail him at mcascante@apla.org.
