This year more than ever -- in light of California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's decision to cut AIDS services funding amid a $23 billion deficit in the state budget -- the ride is essential to the ultimate goal: finding a cure.
The dedicated group of 2,100 riders and more than 500 volunteers hit the road with a common goal of raising AIDS awareness -- but their moving stories are each deeply personal.
