ABC has ordered a full season of new episodes of its Wednesday night hit ensemble comedy Modern Family. The series has won wide acclaim for its fast pacing and clever dialogue, but is considered a breakthrough for its portrayal of gay adoptive fathers. Actors Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet star as Mitch and Cameron, respectively, a gay couple raising a Vietnam-born baby.
