In its third year, the Men on a Mission calendar has put twelve returned Mormon missionaries front and center, bare-chested and ready to make a statement.

Created as a way to combat the fear and violence so often committed in the name of religion, this is the first Men on a Mission calendar to be completed after the passing of Prop 8 in California and Question 1 in Maine -- both stripped gay couples of the right to marry, both were largely funded by the Mormon church.

Many of the models featured in the calendar are openly gay, and Men on a Mission creator Chad Hardy -- who was excommunicated from the church in part because of this calendar series - is a strong supporter of same-sex marriage and gay rights.

Proceeds from calendar sales go to several different charities selected by the models. Take a look at a sneak peak from this year's calendar on the following pages. For more information or to order the 2010 calendar, visit www.mormonsexposed.com.
