"What I care about is that my life isn't any better today," she said.
New York City council speaker Christine Quinn is angry and emotional, and she wasn't afraid to show it in a speech discussing the rejection of a same-sex marriage bill in the New York State senate yesterday.
"I don't really care about a coup," Quinn says. "I don't really care that people ganged up on Dede Scozzafava, who is a courageous woman. What I care about is that my life isn't any better today."
