A Palestinian peace activist has slapped Bruno's Sacha Baron Cohen with a $113 million libel lawsuit over his 2009 mockumentary.
Ayman Abu Aita, who says he is firmly opposed to terrorism, says the film -- in which he is described in one scene as a "terrorist group leader" -- ruined his life. Since the film's premiere, he claims he has received death threats.
He says he was tricked into meeting with Cohen in the first place. He claims he understood that Cohen was a German producing a film about Palestinians.
Abu Aita is suing Cohen, NBC Universal Studios, and comedian David Letterman, who spoke with Cohen on his talk show last year about finding and interviewing a "real terrorist."
