The Los Angeles County coroner told reporters Casey Johnson, heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, died of natural causes related to diabetes, CNN reported.

An autopsy report states Johnson might have been dead for two days before being discovered January 4 by a friend who was out of town.

"They had recently gotten into a disagreement because the decedent had been misusing her insulin and taking large amounts of NyQuil to assist her in going to sleep," the coroner said. "All of these findings indicate diabetic ketoacidosis" was the cause of death. The condition is described as a serious complication of untreated diabetes.

Johnson was a descendant of Robert Wood Johnson, a cofounder of the pharmaceutical titan, and was the daughter of Woody Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets. At he time of her death, she was reportedly engaged to reality show star Tila Tequila.
