Adam Lambert will perform at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, the organization announced in a press release Monday.

The American Idol runner-up will be singing songs from his debut album For Your Entertainment. Constance McMillen, the 18-year-old high school student from Mississippi who was banned from prom for wanting to attend with her girlfriend, will be presenting Wanda Sykes with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the ceremony.

The evening is scheduled to be hosted by Candis Cayne and Wilson Cruz. The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be presented on April 17, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
