DNC Raises 13 Million in March

Despite a boycott by many LGBT donors, the Democratic National Committee was able to raise $13 million in March, nearly $2 million more than the Republican National Committee, according to The Huffington Post.

A Democratic official said that it seems many on the left have been motivated by the party's ability to pass the massive health care reform bill in March.

The RNC announced on Wednesday that it had raised $11.4 million in March.

A group of several LGBT activists and bloggers launched a pledge for gay rights supporters to not donate money to the DNC until action is taken on some of the major gay-related issues, like ending "don't ask, don't tell" and enacting the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.
