The Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism released an iPhone application Monday for LGBT travelers to the state, believed to be the first such application for a domestic U.S. destination.
Gay Consultants Inc. developed the application, which is available at the MOTT site or on iTunes for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
According to a news release from MOTT, the LGBT Massachusetts iPhone Application allows users to find accommodations, restaurants, and entertainment and to explore activities based on their interests and regions. The first state to issue same-sex marriage licenses is known for historical and scenic destinations like Boston, Provincetown on Cape Cod, and the Berkshires.
