Are parents at Booneville, N.C.'s Starmount High School planning a private prom so students can avoid attending with a gay couple?

Jordan Nixon and his boyfriend Chase were told earlier this month they'd be allowed to attend prom together. Chase had originally been told he couldn't bring his boyfriend. That's when Jordan's mom Leesa stepped in and threatened the school with legal action.

Now, Leesa writes that parents at Starmount are moving ahead with plans for a separate prom so their kids "aren't exposed to Jordan and Chase's gayness." She also says she and the boys have been told repeatedly that they are going to hell.
