Mexican singer Paquita la del Barrio says she's still feeling the heat after making antigay comments in March, and she asked the media to leave her alone.
Del Barrio reached out to journalists Wednesday and asked them to lay off, according to En.Terra.com. The singer told a reporter in March that she'd rather see a child die than adopted by a gay couple. She later said her remarks were a result of her "poor education" and that a majority of her friends are gay. "I don't have anything against anyone," she added.
She also tried to make amends by performing at a gay disco, but apparently Mexico's gays have not been appeased.
