As the CW's 90210 continues to build to its much-anticipated coming-out story line, Trevor Donovan's Teddy shocked viewers when he let fly an antigay slur in Monday night's broadcast.
The CW aroused interest among gay viewers over the summer when producers teased that one of the show's male leads would be coming out in season 3. Episodes this season have been building up to Teddy's coming-out.
The slur was directed toward Ian (Kyle Riabko), a student recruited to choreograph a dance number for a charity benefit who shares a past with Teddy. Watch the clip here.
