Driver and Chaiken Partner for

Minnie Driver is coming to CBS in a new pilot from L Word creator Ilene Chaiken.

The Academy Award-nominated actress will star in Hail Mary, the story of "a suburban single mom who teams up with a street-smart hustler to solve crimes."

Chaiken will serve as the series' show runner. She is also overseeing the Showtime reality series, The Real L Word.

Hail Mary marks Driver's return to TV after starring on the FX drama The Riches. She guest starred on an episode of Modern Family in 2009 and had a recurring role on Will & Grace.
