Dolly Parton was shown four photos and asked to pick the one that was
her, not one of three impersonators, but had trouble determining which was really her, during an interview with Good Morning America.
Parton appeared on the program to promote her new album, Better Day,
and the launch of the 26th season of Dollywood, her theme park in
Tennessee. After revealing that she once lost a look-alike competition at
a Los Angeles gay bar, the 65-year-old singer was quizzed by host Robin
Roberts.
"I think you're trying to trick me," Parton said. "I think they're all different pictures of me, aren't they?" Trying again, Parton eventually selected the correct photo.
Also
during the interview, Parton commented on her friendship with Elizabeth
Taylor. "We loved our big hairdos," she says. "We were both little, and
we used to often talk about that, trying to find clothes to suit us ...
She had kind of a big chest too."
