A gay couple who claim they shared a quick kiss after hopping in a cab in Washington, D.C., were told to get out by the driver, who wanted them to know that his cab is "not a bed."
Ari Fredge, 45, and his partner, Christopher Holloway, 51, told TheĀ Washington Post they hopped into the cab after a nice dinner out on the town and then shared a quick peck on the cheek. The driver immediately slammed on the brakes, Fredge said.
"My cab is not a bed. You cannot have sex in my cab!" declared the driver, who ordered the couple to get out of his taxi.
The two men told the Post they were stunned and immediately got out of the cab. The driver attempted to make the men pay $6.35 for the four-block ride. When they refused, he threatened to call the police for nonpayment.
"Too late; I'm already calling 911," Fredge told the driver, who then sped off.
