Philandering former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger made derogatory remarks about an actress and her stylist while watching a red carpet event with a journalist and the housekeeper who secretly bore his child, reports website MyFoxDetroit.
In 2003 Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Charlie LeDuff was a Los Angeles-based correspondent for The New York Times when he pursued a profile of the actor-turned-politician. Following some initial resistance and after being stood up by the newly-elected governor during the first scheduled meeting, LeDuff and his wife were invited to the Schwarzenegger home for an evening of television viewing. LeDuff recalls that Schwarzenegger's housekeeper -- identified this week as Mildred Baena, the woman who bore his child -- had laid out a buffet of warmed-over taquitos, nachos, and hot dogs.
Schwarzenegger handed LeDuff a Cuban cigar (which LeDuff admits was "illegal contraband") and poured him a glass of Scotch, before settling down with his guests and the Schwarzenegger children to watch the red carpet show. LeDuff says Baena sat behind them on a stool.
LeDuff writes: "On the television, a starlet pranced down the carpet. The bottom half of her dress looked like the bottom half of an ostrich. The top of the dress was nothing more than two straps criss-crossing her breasts. Schwarzenegger, fresh off his groping scandal -- and with an East Coast reporter sitting in his living room no less -- barked out: "Look at her! Some queer told her she looks good in that but her tits look like shit!"
