Chad Griffin, the founder of the American Foundation for Equal Rights, the group funding the challenge against Proposition 8, recently spoke about the future of the marriage equality ban.

Griffin was honored at an LGBT pride event at Los Angeles City Hall on June 3. While there, the political consultant spoke to The Advocate not only about Monday's case against Judge Vaughn Walker's impartiality -- the federal judge struck down Prop. 8, but proponents of the ban say his ruling should be thrown out because Walker didn't disclose he was gay and partnered -- but also about whether the issue of gay marriage should go back to California polls in 2012.
