Gay N.Y. Pol Plans to Marry
New York Assembly member Daniel O'Donnell reportedly got engaged to his partner, John Banta, at the state capitol Friday as the state Senate approached a vote on marriage equality.
The rumor has not yet been confirmed. O'Donnell was the lead sponsor of the marriage equality bill in the state Assembly.
