James Franco must really love biopics. After starring as James Dean, Allen Ginsberg, and Aron Ralston, and directing films about Sal Mineo and Hart Crane, the actor is in talks to portray Hugh Hefner, according to Variety.
Franco would portray the Playboy founder in a film about notorious Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace that would reunite him with Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman. Amanda Seyfried will headline as Lovelace, with Sharon Stone as Lovelace's mother and Peter Sarsgaard as her husband, Chuck Traynor, who forced his wife to work in pornographic films.
