👀 The Federal Trade Commission on Wednesday held a workshop that public health experts and LGBTQ+ advocates condemned as “a government-sponsored disinformation campaign,” bringing together a lineup of anti-trans activists, attorneys, and right-wing medical professionals to attack gender-affirming care for transgender youth.
🕯️ Police in Washington, D.C., are seeking the public’s help in finding the killer of Dream Johnson, a Black transgender woman who was shot to death about 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Rest in power, Dream.
🏛️ The European Court of Human Rights said the Swiss courts violated the rights of champion queer runner Caster Semenya by upholding discrimination by World Athletics. The cisgender Olympian with naturally high testosterone has fought for years against a World Athletics decision that kicked her to the sidelines.
