Asia Argento has been fired from the Italian version of The X Factor after she was accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old actor, Business Insider reports. Citing unnamed sources, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety reported that the Italian actress will no longer serve as a judge on the singing competition show, which is broadcast by Sky. Italian media, such as the Corriere della Serra, also reported the news over the weekend. The Hollywood Reporter said Argento will still appear in the first seven episodes of the upcoming season, which were shot prior to the allegations earlier this summer. She will, however, no longer be a judge during the live rounds from October 25. Argento has denied that she assaulted the actor, Jimmy Bennett, and said her then-boyfriend, the late Anthony Bourdain, made a payment to him to ease Bennett's financial problems.
