The guys at Dirt Squirrel wanted to make clothing that conveyed a lighthearted spirit and that a person could wear to say, "I'm not a prude. Read more below.
The guys who started the company were sitting around brainstorming a name when they decided to use the phrase familiar to all of them that described “someone with a propensity for just wanting a good nut.” Hence, Dirt Squirrel.
So they knew that there was nothing they would rather slap on a pair of sexy briefs than “Dirt Squirrel.” Then they added more items to the line like T-shirts, sweaters, hats, and even fans. (Yes, those “Shade” fans are part of their line.
So we asked, "What’s next?"
“As we move forward we will likely just keep doing whatever we find fun that's also putting food on the table. We also want to start a YouTube channel like every second millennial and all of Generation Z, so keep posted for when that happens. There might be guys in underwear. Just maybe.”
