The Barcelona Gay Men's Chorus reveals the hidden side of LGBT choirs with its first calendar, \u201cShow Must Go On.\u201d

After four highly successful productions and, on the occasion of its third anniversary, BGMC launches a 2018 calendar focused on the male body and the performing arts world, with the goal of preserving its independent activity as a nonprofit association.

Drawing inspiration from the performing arts world, Miguel Yerga, a photographer with extensive experience, who is also a member of the chorus, bares every hidden detail of an artist from different points of view and spaces. "My idea is to create a calendar with images typical of a performing arts show, with a theater as stage, using all possible spaces as the dressing rooms, the backstage area, the stalls, the box seats and of course the stage," explains Yerga, who relied on the voluntary collaboration of chorus members and had the privilege of using the legendary Casino L'Alianca del Poblenou theatre in Barcelona as setting for his photographs.

People living in the EU may purchase the calendar via PayPal by pressing the button for international shipment at barcelonagmc.org. For orders from outside the EU, send an email to bgmc@barcelonagmc.org.
