It was a night of drag, dancing, and most important, community gathering in a fun and safe space. Read more below.
DTLA PROUD's block party, Night on Broadway, was huge and fabulous, with over 250,000 people in attendance. It took an amazing team of organizers, volunteers, performers, DJs, vendors, community groups, and artists to bring the #DTLAPROUD Block Party to life at the intersection of Fourth and Broadway in front of Precinct. Special credits go to City Council member Jose Huizar, Bringing Back Broadway, and the city of L.A. for making it all possible.
The LGBTQ+ Stage Spectacular featured performances by Gia Gunn, The Hound, Pickle, Tito Soto, Joseph Eid, Men in Heels LA, Rasputin's Marionettes, Team Ferosha, Puteria, Sasha Colby, Exposure Drag, and Jesse Alvarado's New Jalisco Extravaganza Show.
DTLA PROUD Beer Garden hosted DJ sets by Josh Peace, David Oh, Sindri Salad, Brian Starr, DJ Addiction, Stanley Frank, and David Banjela.
Thanks to Miguel Angel Reyes for capturing the great vibe in these photos.
