Retiring congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) headlined a civil rights fund-raiser in Maine Saturday and urged voters to get out and support marriage equality in November.
Speaking at the Maine People's Alliance 30th anniversary awards dinner in Portland, Frank said he hoped to marry in Maine next year. Frank also told the crowd that he advocated cutting military spending and lamented the loss of moderate Republicans in Congress. Read more here.
