The transgender former leader of the D.C. LGBTQ+ nonprofit Casa Ruby, who pleaded guilty to fraud, asked to replace her lawyers.
“What the American government did to Andry and others is a stain on the moral fabric of our nation,” Takano says.
“I want the world to know that being Venezuelan is not a crime,” the gay makeup artist told The Advocate in an exclusive interview.
