Jojo Siwa is making history this year as she competes on Dancing With the Stars.

Though she is not a part of the first-ever same-sex coupling on the franchise, Siwa represents the first permanently partnered same-sex pair on the America iteration of the series. Prior to her, on the U.S. version of Dancing With the Stars, same-sex pairings, like with Nyle DiMarco, were one-time things.

But Siwa, who initially rose to fame on Dance Moms, has blazed a trail in style. She has consistently nabbed some of the highest scores with partner Jenna Johnson. In fact, they received two perfect scores with Foxtrot and Jazz -- the Foxtrot was the first perfect score of the season.

Then they did the cha-cha to Lady Gaga.

Jojo and her partner got the highest score of the night.
