Caitlyn Jenner is a Republican and hasn't always supported marriage equality, she told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview, her first on a talk show since coming out as transgender.

"At first, I was not for it," said Jenner, who explained "I'm older" and a "traditionalist."

"But, as time has gone on, I think, like a lot of people on this issue have really changed their thinking here to 'I don't ever want to stand in front of anybody's happiness.'"

DeGeneres noted that Jenner still seems withholding of full support, but Jenner says she's on board.
