If the character of Warren, the gay associate in the new NBC series First Years, seems a little bland to you, then tune in when BBC America begins airing the British source, This Life, on March 20 (check local listings). As relayed in the gay newspaper Fab! while the American Warren is a handsome creature whose sexual expression has so far been limited to his hanging a tasteful Mapplethorpe-evocative photo in his office, the British version is a nerdy sort to likes to seek sex in parks. And for those of you keeping up with the evasive answers of Mackenzie Astin when it comes to his sexuality, the Facts of Life alum recently went so far as to admit to TV Guide that truth be told, you know, personally Im not really sure!
