Ricky Martin joins gala at L.A. Opera

Los Angeles Opera has added Ricky Martin to the roster of musical stars set to perform at “Placido Domingo and Friends: The Welcome Concert and Gala,” an event scheduled for March 21 at 7 p.m. to commemorate the singer's arrival as artistic director of the company. Other performers include opera stars Frederica von Stade, Julia Migenes, and Samuel Ramey along with Kirov ballerina Irma Nioradze and percussionist sensation Evelyn Glennie.
