Actresses playing lesbian characters among People’s “50 Most Beautiful”

A People magazine reader survey has listed Elizabeth Mitchell as number 3 and Laura Innes as number 6 in their “50 Most Beautiful People in the World 2001.” Innes plays the the sexually conflicted and generally unpleasant Dr. Kerry Weaver on NBC’s popular show ER. Mitchell plays the new doctor with whom Dr. Weaver finds herself becoming more and more emotionally entangled. In a recent interview with GayHealth.com, Innes promised that during the end-of-the-season episodes, “There’s gonna be some good stuff between us.”
