November 26 was a busy Monday for pop star Sir Elton John--his appearance on Fox's Ally McBeal airs in the United States while, across the Atlantic, he tops the bill at the annual Royal Variety Performance. Reuters reports that John makes his first appearance at the show, attended by Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip, in 30 years. Also on the bill are Jennifer Lopez, Craig David, and Cher. In other Elton John news, VH1 reports that 'N Sync star Justin Timberlake will play a young Elton in John's next video, "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore."
