Once and Again, which recently courted controversy by including a teenage lesbian character, has been canceled by ABC, according to TVGuide.com. The hubbub, however, didn't contribute to the show's getting the ax--low ratings are to blame. In a statement, creator Ed Zwick (My So-called Life) thanked fans for their "outpouring of support," adding, "We're grateful that ABC has given us the chance to create a final episode that does justice to those who have been loyal to the series."
