For the second time in as many weeks, Late Show host Stephen Colbert managed to take the stage at a national political convention.

After pleading with the powers that be to allow him onto the stage at the Democratic National Convention and pretending to be with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, Colbert faked out security, dashing and rolling onto the podium holding a stuffed weasel named Caligula.

Dressed in a costume like that of Hunger Games emcee Caesar Flickerman, Colbert remarked, "I'm not one to gloat but I won!"

Last week Colbert managed to crash the stage at the Republican National Convention, sayinf, "I know I am not supposed to be up here, but let's be honest, neither is Donald Trump."

Watch Colbert's plot to take the stage unfold.
