The coalition working to defeat a proposed constitutional ban on same-sex marriage in North Carolina released two new ads focused on the unintended consequences of the measure for domestic violence victims as the campaign nears its final week.
Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank, who is retiring after this term in office, said President Barack Obama has been performing well on gay rights issues, but takes umbrage with the president's lack of support for marriage equality.
Being gay is a choice, and the nation is only for the “moral and religious,” said Colorado senators opposed to a civil unions bill, which their chamber nonetheless passed yesterday.
In the survey conducted earlier this month, 47% of respondents said they favored marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples, while 43% said they were opposed.
Congressman Barney Frank says Mitt Romney's way of talking about same-sex marriages make them sound trivial.
